About
Tamara (Tammy) Poff is a formally trained, contemporary figurative artist devoted to narrative depictions of the human form. Originally from Michigan and now residing in Tucson, Arizona, she completed her B.A. in Art Education from Michigan State University with studies toward the M.F.A., painting emphasis, at Kendall College of Art and Design.

An artist and educator for over 3 decades, she enjoyed teaching live classes throughout the Eastern time zone for 5 years while residing in Florida. She later taught online courses and wrote three for rigid heddle weavers (still available at Amazon.com).
​
Since 2022, Ms. Poff has returned to full-time painting with recognition in multiple juried competitions throughout the US. Her work is in private and public collections from Massachusetts to Tucson.
