Your Instructor - Tamara Poff
I’m Tamara Poff, a dedicated artist and seasoned instructor committed to guiding artists in cultivating clarity, confidence, and a distinctive personal visual style. My teaching mission is straightforward: to uncover the creative vision that resides within every painter.
Based in Tucson, Arizona, since 2018, I am a contemporary narrative painter with a B.A. in Art Education. My work is showcased in collections nationwide, from Massachusetts to California. I collaborate with both novice and seasoned painters eager to enhance their artistic goals and trust their unique visual instincts.
I'm a representational painter most days, but find that cold wax medium keeps me from getting too tight in my work. Cold wax and oil paint gives painters at any level a crack at a successful result and enhanced skills.
